Thomas

Thomas is a music writer, classical musician, and sound engineer. He is also a film lover. Thomas watches a wide range of films. However, Sci-Fi is his most favourite film genre. He is obsessed with the 80s Sci-Fi films, which constructed his teenage period.

As a music graduate, Thomas has spent a lots of time on studying soundtracks from his favourite titles. He adores legendary composers such as John Williams, Ennio Morricone, Michael Giacchino.

Thomas considers himself as a Hong Konger. Thus, he is also a big fan of Hong Kong-made titles. Wong Kar-wai and Stephen Chow are Thomas’ all-time favourites.

Favourite Films: The Empire Strikes Back, Back to the Future, Akira, 2001: A Space Odyssey, In the Mood of Love.

Kingsley

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Communication, Kingsley Lim has had experiences working with different roles on multiple short films and documentaries (cinematography, editing, directing, etc), news production, as well as journalism writing.

He has worked on software such as Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the videos he helped create. He enjoys watching films and television, and has a deep appreciation for the art of animation.

Favourite Films: Jurassic Park, Spider-Man 2, Ratatouille.

Yuan

Completed a Master of Moving Image in The Sydney College of Art. During the last experience he obtained skills specifically in digital editing and screen writing.

As for now, he is a part-time editor for short film, music video and commercial. Quentin Tarantino, Wong Kar-wai, Koreeda Hirokazu are his all time favourite.

Favourite Films: Pulp Fiction, Chungking Express, Nobody Knows, The Last Emperor.

Alice

Alice started her master course of advertising two years ago in Melbourne. She has greatly improved the independent learning skills and critical thinking abilities during her studies. It is her last semester in Melbourne.

Currently Alice is working as a beauty consultant, which is one of her dream jobs. Making vlogs and sharing daily routine seems as a part of her life. Alice enjoys working in beauty industry and fashion design.

There are two things she loves, Marvel movies and cheesecake. She hopes someday she can eat cheesecake and watch Marvel movies for a whole day.

Favourite Films: Coherence, Almost a Love Story, Captain America.

Grace

Grace studied Early Childhood Education. She changed her major to Master of Media because she has been obsessed with media, film in particular.

Grace has been working in the media industry, such as the management of WeChat interface and writing articles for applications. These practices gave her a lot of knowledge accumulation in the media. She believes these experiences will become the foundation of future study in her Media  major.

Favourite Films: Green Book, Maudie.
